Main Purpose of Job

To assess and coordinate emergency vehicles or calls to ensure a timeous response to incidents logged on Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD). To assist in receiving, prioritise and log emergency and non-emergency telephone calls and to determine the appropriate level of EMS assistance.

  • Provide basic contact centre administration.
Required Education
  • Essential Education: Grade 12
  • Desired Education: BAA/ Level 3 first aid Certification
Required Experience
  • Essential Minimum Experience: Contact Centre / Emergency Contact Centre exposure
  • Desired Experience: 1 – 3 years dispatching in an EMS contact centre
