Job summary

A community-focused organization is seeking a Supply Chain Management Officer to oversee procurement functions and ensure compliance with relevant legislation. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of administrative experience in supply chain management, with knowledge of financial regulations and strong organizational skills. This position offers an all-inclusive remuneration package of R345 865.24 CTC per annum and is located in East London, Eastern Cape.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of office administrative work experience in supply chain management.
• Experience in procurement processes and managing supplier databases.
• Knowledge in POPI Act and PAIA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the SALB Supplier Database and CSD reports.
• Administer procurement processes through purchase orders and RFPs.
• Ensure compliance with SCM policies and relevant legislation.

Skills

Good working knowledge of the PFMA and SCM Acts

Good (English) written and verbal communication skills

Detail oriented and deadline driven

Strong organizational and time management skills

Good administrative and business writing skills

Education

National Diploma or higher-level qualification in Supply Chain Management/Procurement Management
