Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Production Stock Control Officer in Durban. Candidates must have an NQF 6 Supply Chain qualification and extensive experience managing stock and teams in the FMCG sector. An opportunity for an experienced and qualified Production Stock Control Officer,

The successful incumbent will report directly to the Stock Control Manager for operational functions

Requirements:

NQF 6 Supply Chain qualification and/equivalent

Minimum of 3 years experience in a Production Stock Control administrative and management position

Minimum of 2-3 years experience working with ERP systems, preferably Syspro

Must have at least 2 years experience managing people.

An FMCG sector/industry background is preferred.

Operational Responsibilities:

Ensure stock availability and planning, ahead of production supply requirements in accordance to the Production Weekly Plan

Ensure stock accuracy and reconciliation (raw material and finished product) between physical count and Syspro count and address variances

Ensure stock rotation policy/principles are adhered to (FIFO)

Ensure that picking/packing/pulling is completed accurately, and errors or damages are minimized

Manage all stock movements (raw material and finished product) to and from production to dispatch with company production and quality standards maintained

Manage Work In Progress (WIP) report on Syspro

Effectively manage Production Stock Control staff performance
