Job description

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Hybrid Cloud, Hardware Infrastructure, and Virtualization (VMware) to join our team. This role is pivotal in designing and delivering end-to-end infrastructure solutions for enterprise clients, combining on-premises hardware, disaster recovery, and cloud integration.

You will work closely with clients in a presales capacity, translating business requirements into technical architectures, and lead the creation of external solutions that drive agility, scalability, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Hybrid Cloud architectures integrating on-prem infrastructure with public cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Create network diagrams for Production and DR sites, including replication and backup strategies.
• Architect compute, storage, and network solutions leveraging VMware, Intel Xeon servers, and 25Gb networking.
• Define storage tiering strategies (Flash, Cold, Archive) and ensure full redundancy.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions with clients to understand requirements.
• Prepare and present technical proposals, BOMs, and cost models to boards and decision-makers.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop competitive bids and respond to RFPs.

Disaster Recovery & Backup

• Design DR solutions using repurposed hardware and software-based replication.
• Integrate Veeam backup with cloud archiving for compliance (7-year retention).
• Ensure RPO/RTO objectives are met for Tier 1 and Tier 2 workloads.
• Assess workloads for cloud migration and recommend hybrid strategies.
• Implement secure cloud backup and archive solutions aligned with compliance standards.

Professional Services Leadership

• Define implementation timelines, resource plans, and migration strategies.
• Provide technical oversight during deployment and DR testing.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years in infrastructure architecture, virtualization, and hybrid cloud.
• Strong knowledge of VMware, Veeam, and enterprise storage solutions (HPE, NetApp, Huawei, etc.).
• Expertise in network design (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba) and 25Gb IP fabrics.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and backup/archive integration.
• Proven ability to lead presales engagements and deliver compelling technical proposals.
• Familiarity with RPO/RTO planning, compliance-driven retention, and DR runbooks.
