Job summary

A leading logistics company based in South Africa seeks an experienced SAP Technical Basis Analyst to provide technical support for critical IT systems such as SAP and associated interfaces. Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a similar position within an IT environment.
• Demonstrated experience in SAP Basis systems.
• Experience in administration of AIX Unix operating systems.
• Experience with IBM’s TSM backup system.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP logical security and user authorisations.
• Support SAP Basis through configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Implement optimal SAP configuration for performance.
• Manage Disaster Recovery processes bi-annually.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance management.
