MAIN PURPOSE:

Woolworths Financial Services (WFS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior People Data Analyst to join our People & Culture team.This critical role will drive remuneration processes, people analytics,systems, and financial governance. The successful candidate will ensurecompliance, accuracy, and alignment with WFS’s people strategy while workingclosely with Finance, senior leadership, and People & Culture teams todeliver insights and recommendations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Calculate andvalidate Long-Term Incentive (LTI) and Short-Term Incentive (STI) figures,ensuring Finance has accurate data for payout processing.
  • Prepare remunerationand incentive-related reports for the Remuneration Committee (RemCo), ensuringcompliance and accuracy
  • Lead and coordinatethe Annual Salary Review (ASR) process, including benchmarking, analysis, andsystem accuracy.
  • Work hand-in-handwith Business Partners to ensure cyclical processes relating to Remuneration& Benefits (ASR, STI, LTI, IPM file checks) run seamlessly.
  • Maintain and documentbusiness rules, policies, and guidelines for remuneration and benefitsprocesses.

Data, Reporting & Analytics

  • Lead managementsupport of the People & Culture function in people metrics, reporting, andanalytics.
  • Produce monthly,quarterly, and annual reports including BU reporting, STP, dashboards, andad-hoc requests.
  • Develop and maintainPeople & Culture reports such as the P&C Scorecard and FunctionalDashboard.
  • Analyse people datato identify trends, risks, and opportunities and prepare reports for seniorleadership.
  • Develop predictivemodels for attrition, performance, and workforce planning.
  • Ensure qualityassurance of key People & Culture datasets, reports, and metrics.
  • Provide thoughtleadership on the complete cycle of talent analytics, from recruitment throughattrition.
  • Develop and maintainbenchmarks with other organisations and industries.

Systems & Database Management

  • Support theselection, implementation, and maintenance of People & Culture systems.
  • Continuously supportand optimise systems by researching best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate withWoolworths Group and external providers to build system functionality tocollect, analyse, and present data.
  • Manage and maintainpeople-related databases, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and accessibility ofdata.
  • Prepare cost modelsfor new organisational design and workforce planning.
  • Act as custodian andchange agent for People & Culture Analytics, promoting the use of data indecision-making.
  • Partner with Finance,senior leadership, and external providers to align data, systems, and reportingneeds.
  • Coach and trainP&C stakeholders on the use and interpretation of people metrics.
  • Participate incross-functional projects, contributing insights and recommendations from dataanalysis.
  • Evaluateeffectiveness of People & Culture programs (e.g., training, performance,compensation) and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide analysis onmarket-based surveys, employee surveys, and ad-hoc studies as required.
Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Finance,Commerce, Computer Science, Statistics, or related discipline
  • Post graduate degreein Information Systems and or Data Analytics is advantageous

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 10+ years’ experiencein data analysis and reporting, with strong exposure to remuneration processes.
  • Proven ability tomanage salary reviews, incentive calculations, and remuneration governance.
  • 3+ years ofexperience leading system reviews and implementations in HR or Peoplefunctions.
  • Expert-level Exceland PowerBI skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights.
  • Strong knowledge ofbusiness theory, budgeting, and organisational processes.
  • Hands-on experiencemanaging large databases and People systems, ensuring integration andoptimisation.
  • Proven projectmanagement expertise and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
