Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer to join a dynamic design team. This role requires a blend of architectural design, technical ability, and project management expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative workplace and interior solutions across refurbishment, fit-out, and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Project Delivery

Take projects from client brief to final completion, ensuring requirements are met within budget and timelines.

Develop space plans, look books, and construction drawings.

Specify suitable products and finishes with thorough research and warranties.

Liaise with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful execution.

Oversee site meetings, installations, and manage variation orders when required.

2. Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E)

Compile and cost FF&E schedules, estimates, and quotes.

Assist with procurement and supplier negotiations.

Coordinate deliveries and maintain supplier/product databases.

3. Business Development & Client Relationships

Participate in pitches and presentations to secure new business.

Maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction throughout projects.

Identify opportunities for additional services with existing clients.

4. Team & Process Contribution



Mentor junior designers.

Stay updated with industry trends and software developments.

Support marketing and brand strategy initiatives.

Assist with supplier/contractor list building and internal design resources.

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or equivalent BTech/MTech.
8+ years’ experience in commercial design, building refurbishment, and architectural design.
Strong written communication and presentation skills (verbal & digital).
In-depth knowledge of furnishings, finishes, furniture, lighting, and materials.
Ability to read, interpret, and compile construction drawings and documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop
3D rendering and sketching abilities.
Strong site surveying skills.Up-to-date with local and international design trends.
Knowledge of municipal bylaws.
