Job description

Khawulezaa Africa is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our client's growing team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background across the full HR value chain, with particular strength in payroll processing, industrial relations (IR), COIDA claims, and HR reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and process the full payroll function accurately and timeously.
  • Oversee all Industrial Relations (IR) matters, including disciplinary hearings, consultations, and grievance procedures.
  • Handle all COIDA (Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act) claims and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Prepare and submit regular HR reports to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee wellness initiatives.
  • Maintain and update employee records in accordance with company policy and labour laws.
  • Provide expert HR advice and ensure adherence to all statutory requirements.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in a generalist HR role, with at least 3 years at a senior level.
  • Proven experience in payroll administration, IR case management, and COIDA processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
