Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior Financial Accounting Manager serves as a seasoned subject matter expert, overseeing the preparation of complex financial reports, execution of month-end and balance sheet reconciliations.

This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Reporting monthly results into group consolidation system
• Reporting budgets into group consolidation system
• Preparation of all balance sheet reconciliations including fixed asset registers, bank accounts, prepayments etc
• Balancing of all inter-company accounts – payables and receivables
• Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies and collaborate across various finance and non-finance functions
• Responsible for analysing journals, producing data analysis and reports and assist with variance analysis
• Responsible for the assembly of the annual audit information for external auditors
• As a partner in the accounting process, recommend how to improve efficiency using automation
• Implement effective financial controls, including systems reconciliations and ensuring the integrity of reported figures
• Plan month-end activities which include the preparation and processing of month-end journal entries and executing a variety of actions in the accounting system
• Perform any other relevant task as requested by management

• Knowledge and prior exposure to international entities, foreign currency and inter-company transactions
• Advanced knowledge of tax legislative requirements locally, and in international jurisdictions
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance or related field

Required experience

• Advanced experience gained in a similar role preferably within a similar global organisation
• Advanced financial accounting experience
• Advanced experience working on financial systems / software
