A leading finance organization in Johannesburg is looking for an experienced finance professional to lead budgeting, forecasting, and P&L performance reviews for the region. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in FP&A, strong financial modelling and analytical skills, and a background in multinational environments. This role involves partnership with various teams and managing a team of financial analysts to ensure business objectives are met.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance.
• Recent experience in a similar role.
• Background in a multinational or consumer-driven environment.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and outlook cycles across MEA.
• Own P&L performance reviews and investment tracking.
• Partner with teams to translate strategy into financial outcomes.

Job description

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the regional budgeting, forecasting, and outlook cycles across MEA
• Owning P&L performance reviews, risks & opportunities, cash, inventory, and investment tracking
• Partnering closely with commercial, supply chain, and leadership teams to translate strategy into financial outcomes
• Driving pricing, portfolio, and profitability analysis through business cases and scenario modelling
• Ensuring strong governance, compliance, and audit support
• Driving automation, simplification, and continuous improvement across finance processes
• Managing and developing a team of financial analysts

The ideal profile:

• 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A / Commercial Finance / Business Performance
• Current or recent experience in similar role
• Background in a multinational / consumer-driven environment
• Strong financial modelling, analytical, and business partnering skills
• Experience working across multiple markets and cultures
• Advanced Excel; exposure to ERP / BI tools is a plus
• Fluent English;
