Purpose

Own strategic accounts and high-value opportunities to deliver revenue growth through cross-sell / upsell, IT Services / Panels and complex solution sales.

Drive pipeline coverage to meet or exceed the 3x benchmark and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Account Management: Expand footprint in existing accounts by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Build multi-offer proposals and manage executive-level relationships.
  • Pipeline Ownership: Maintain weighted pipeline coverage = 3x quarterly target.
  • Drive late-stage progression and conversion to wins.
  • Opportunity Leadership: Lead sales pursuits; ensure eligibility packs and compliance.
  • Collaborate internally on strategic opportunities.
  • Mentorship: Coach Junior BDMs on opportunity creation, meeting discipline and CRM hygiene.
  • Governance Reporting: Enforce in-house CRM standards.
  • Report on KPIs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Matric Certificate required.
  • Degree in Sales / Marketing or Business Management (preferred).
  • 5+ years' experience in ICT sales with proven track record in solution selling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of ICT sales strategy, including Microsoft, Cloud and Networks.
