Job description

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To perform development and integration functions related to the SAP technology stack.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

To perform system analysis and problem-solving across the SAP Environment and related systems.

• Ensure that technical solutions conform to SAP Architecture and align with Standards.
• Functional Specifications are translated into detailed Technical Specifications.
• Technical Specifications are compiled and maintained as requirements and updated over the lifespan of the solution.
• Assist with problem-solving within the SAP development and integration environments

To develop and test SAP systems

• Developments are done as per Technical Specifications and within agreed timelines.
• Technical Test documentation is completed and maintained.
• Perform unit, system integration and user acceptance testing in conjunction with the SAP Functional Analysts and Business.
• Perform code reviews as required.

To perform maintenance on SAP systems

• System changes are logged and prioritised.
• System and testing documentation is updated with changes.
• Resolve system incidents within the agreed SLA.

To perform System Integration monitoring

• Monitoring measures are implemented for system interfaces.
• Handovers are done to SAP Business Support to monitor interfaces and address any issues.

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• 3 Years Development Experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years Development Experience on SAP Platforms/technologies
• 2 years System Analysis Experience

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

• Matric (NQF Level 4)
