The Role

As Partner Sales – Banking (South Africa), you will play a pivotal role in expanding SAP Fioneer's footprint across the banking sector. Acting as a trusted advisor at C‑Suite level, you will identify opportunities, understand customer business drivers, and guide strategic engagements with leading banks in the region. This role is highly entrepreneurial: you will drive market entry, open new accounts, and grow long‑term client relationships. With your strong network and industry expertise, you will shape strategic deals and position SAP Fioneer as a partner of choice for digital transformation in banking.

Responsibilities
  • Drive business development and sales activities for core banking solutions in the South African market.
  • Drive opportunities through the entire sales cycle: acquire new clients, expand into new accounts, and grow existing relationships.
  • Build and maintain value‑driven, trusted relationships with senior decision‑makers at major banks.

Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in business development or enterprise sales within banking.
  • A proven delivery track record of software sales in the Banking industry, with a focus on Core Banking Solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of the financial services landscape, current trends, and current transformation drivers.
  • Deep understanding of core banking processes & systems.
  • Established C‑Level network in the South Africa banking landscape.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Possess the innate ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, client‑focused, changing environment and work independently in a self‑directed manner.
