Responsibilities
Sales Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and motivate showroom and digital sales teams
- Set clear objectives and KPIs, monitor results, and drive accountability
- Organize regular team meetings, performance reviews, and incentive programs
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales advisors
Showroom & Customer Experience
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the showroom
- Ensure high standards of product display, cleanliness, and customer service
- Guarantee strong vehicle presentation and team readiness
- Foster a customer-first culture across the team
Commercial Performance
- Build and implement action plans to achieve volume, revenue, and margin targets
- Improve conversion rates throughout the sales funnel
- Manage pricing, promotions, discounts, and profitability
Reporting & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Provide weekly reporting to the Country Manager
- Collaborate with Procurement, Marketing, Reconditioning, and other departments
- Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to boost performance
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in automotive sales, ideally in used-car retail
- Proven track record in team management and showroom operations
- Strong leadership, results-driven mindset, and customer focus
- Autonomous, structured, and hands-on professional
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Good knowledge of the South African automotive market.
