Sales Executive – MotionAds

Compensation: Base salary + attractive commission structure

Role Overview:

We’re looking for an ambitious and results‑driven Sales Executive to join our team in Johannesburg. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales background, who is passionate about innovation and eager to bring MotionAds’ unique advertising platform to more clients across South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive new business through cold outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Present MotionAds’ value proposition to marketing and media decision‑makers
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with agency and direct clients
  • Craft and pitch creative advertising solutions tailored to client objectives
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Stay informed on advertising trends, especially in OOH and performance‑led media
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution
  • Represent MotionAds at industry events and client meetings
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience: 3–5+ years in sales (OOH or digital media a bonus)
  • Self‑Starter: Comfortable taking initiative and working independently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Hunter Mentality: Demonstrated ability to consistently source, pursue, and secure new business in a fast‑paced, competitive environment.
  • Client‑Centric: Strong relationship management and consultative selling skills
  • Results‑Oriented: Proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets
  • Creative Thinker: Able to develop compelling advertising solutions with measurable impact
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of media buying processes, brand strategy, and marketing KPIs
  • Tech‑Savvy: Confident using CRM systems, proposal tools, and presentation software
