Qualifications

A leading organisation in the construction sector is seeking a skilled Sales Consultant to join its team on a 12-month contract based in Isando, Johannesburg. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual with strong technical sales expertise and a proven ability to manage premium brand customer accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve monthly sales targets across new, used, and rental equipment
  • Grow market share and rental hours within assigned territory and customer base
  • Conduct effective territory and client relationship management
  • Handle all sales administration accurately and timely
  • Take full ownership of performance and self-management
  • Manage the full end-to-end sales process from lead generation to closing
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 and a relevant qualification in Sales or Marketing (BTech or Diploma)
  • 5–10 years' experience in sales, ideally within earthmoving or heavy equipment (CAT experience preferred)
  • Experience working with premium brand customers
  • Strong business development skills and technical product knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and business communication tools
  • Fluent in Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking essential)
  • Willingness to travel regularly
  • Excellent financial acumen and planning ability
