Overview
Crocs Sandton is looking for a Seasonal Sales Assistant to join their team. A well-established leading-edge international brand in the retail sector is seeking to appoint someone in the role of a Sales Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Sales: Acknowledge every customer within 30 seconds; deliver excellent customer service following Crocs procedures; understand customer needs and demonstrate benefits using product knowledge; close the sale and secure add-on sales; invite customers to return and become Crocs fans; monitor daily sales against individual budget.
- Inventory: Replenish footwear, apparel, and accessories from the storeroom daily; minimise shrinkage by zoning the store and following Crocs changing room policy; ensure stock entries in the POS are accurate; process deliveries (quantities, invoicing, tagging, hanging, pricing) and record in the POS; process customer orders.
- Daily Operations: Maintain store housekeeping daily (dusting, cleaning mirrors, vacuuming, emptying bins, tidying change rooms); assist the manager with opening and closing the store.
- Training: Your training is your responsibility; you will be allocated a buddy to learn from; attend quarterly training sessions and complete assessments; receive monthly feedback from your manager; set up monthly meetings with your store manager to discuss progress; these determine eligibility for promotions.
- Merchandising: Observe the store and maintain stock presentation per Crocs standards; replenish sizes; assist the team with changing windows/mannequins fortnightly; ensure POS materials are stored safely to avoid damage.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
- Crocs product knowledge advantageous
- Able to work flexible shifts
