Overview
As a Junior Project Manager, you'll support the end-to-end planning and execution of retail store projects. You'll work closely with senior leadership, landlords, designers, and suppliers to ensure that every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to Our Client's premium standards. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple moving parts...all while staying calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing retail store design and development projects from initiation to completion
- Coordinate with landlords, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery
- Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Prepare presentations, reports, and project documentation for stakeholders
- Support the rollout of new categories, merchandising layouts, and in-store activations
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with company and safety standards
- Identify project risks and propose solutions to keep projects on track
- Maintain project trackers and ensure accurate data for management reporting
- Ensure compliance with Our Client's brand standards, mall regulations, and health & safety requirements
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of project management or coordination experience in the retail industry (non-negotiable)
- Experience in store development, rollout, or contracts management
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with project management tools is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Demonstrated understanding of project budgets and cost control
- Strong visual eye and attention to detail aligned with retail execution standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Project Management, Construction Management, or Architecture
- Experience in retail design, construction, or store rollout projects
- Creative problem-solver with a strong eye for design and detail
- Willingness to travel as needed for site visits and store openings
