Job summary

A retail company in Cape Town is seeking an HR Officer to provide comprehensive support across various stores. The ideal candidate will handle HR processes, manage disciplinary actions, and ensure compliance with legislation. Candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years HR or IR experience, preferably in Retail or FMCG. Proficiency in MS Office and a valid driver’s license are essential. The role comes with a monthly salary of R20,000 and a travel allowance of R3,000.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years HR or IR experience preferably in Retail or FMCG.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Time and Attendance and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive HR support across all stores.
• Manage disciplinary function and guide managers on IR matters.
• Support end-to-end recruitment including onboarding.
• Assist with HR compliance and maintain accurate records.

Skills

Strong administrative and organisational skills

Experience in disciplinary processes and investigations

Knowledge of BCEA, LRA, EEA and company policies

Education

Grade 12

HR or Labour Relations qualification
