Position : Registered Nurse - Theatre Anaesthetics

Location : East Rand

Facility : Private Hospital

Clinical Nurse (Registered Nurse) Theatre Anaesthetics

We are recruiting an experienced Clinical Nurse with expertise in Theatre Anaesthetics to join a leading private this role you will deliver safe cost-effective and high-quality patient care in line with hospital standards and professional nursing best practice. You will be responsible for the direct and indirect care of patients including the assessment planning and supervision of care while serving as a role model in evidence-based clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a culture of continuous quality improvement within the theatre environment.
• Maintain compliance with SANC and all relevant healthcare legislation.
• Participate actively in clinical governance initiatives.
• Assess plan implement and oversee patient care to meet individual needs.
• Provide and promote exceptional nursing care aligned with professional and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Nursing qualification: Diploma in General Nursing / BCur Degree (or equivalent NQF 7 qualification).
• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Proven experience in Theatre Anaesthetics is essential.
• Solid understanding of healthcare legislation clinical theory and specialised nursing practice.
• Knowledge of modern nursing principles and the ability to uphold high standards of care in a specialised setting.
