ThoroughTec Simulation, based in Durban, is seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working Quality Control Inspector to join their Quality Assurance Department, in a full-time capacity.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring that all purchased and manufactured goods meet the company’s strict quality standards. We require an individual that is energetic, passionate and proactive and who can work in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Perform quality checks on all electrical/ electronic components, assemblies and PCB’s to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
• Test and evaluation of finished products in accordance with the organisation’s quality standards, product specifications and/or customer requirements.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.
• Operating as part of a broader quality control team.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Communicating quality-related matters both internally and externally.

Candidates should ideally be able to demonstrate:

• Prior quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• An ability to work in a cross functional team with challenging deadlines.
• Ability to use electrical Instruments for verification and testing.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects at one time.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office packages.
• An understanding of electrical principles.
• Must be able to read and understand Electro-mechanical
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 practices within a quality control environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and decision-making skills.
• An ability to set and improve quality standards within supply base.
• A positive and engaging attitude in dealing with people at all levels within the organisation.
