Job summary

A leading educational institution in Northern Cape is seeking a Qualified Diesel Mechanic to manage and maintain their onsite workshop. The ideal candidate has a Trade-tested Diesel Mechanic qualification, at least 5 years of post-qualification experience, and is able to work on both heavy-duty trucks and petrol vehicles. Strong technical expertise and a valid Code 14 driver's license are essential. This role requires flexibility for breakdowns and standby duties.

Job description

We are looking for a Qualified Diesel Mechanic (ideally with petrol vehicle experience as well) to manage and maintain our onsite workshop. The successful candidate must be highly skilled, dependable, and able to work on both heavy-duty trucks and petrol passenger vehicles.

Key Requirements:

• Trade-tested Diesel Mechanic qualification (petrol experience advantageous)

• 5 years’ experience after qualifying
