The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and final delivery of key client and internal projects, specifically within the Occupational Health and Wellness service lines (e.g., Mobile Medicals rollouts, On-site Clinic setups, and major training programmes).
Project Planning and Initiation: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams and clients. Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource allocation. Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenditure and forecasting cost variations accurately.
Execution and Control: Coordinate cross-functional teams, including clinical staff (nurses, doctors), administrative staff, and Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) specialists. Monitor project progress daily, identifying potential bottlenecks or deviations from the plan, and implementing corrective action. Manage project resources, including mobile medical units, equipment, and contracted services, ensuring availability and optimal deployment.
Conduct regular status meetings and provide clear, concise updates to internal stakeholders and client contacts.
Risk, Quality, and Compliance: Identify, assess, and manage project risks, particularly those related to client-specific compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., OHS Act, clinical standards). Ensure all project deliverables meet the company's quality standards and are executed in line with agreed-upon client Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
Project Closure: Facilitate formal project closure, including handover documentation, financial reconciliation, and post-project performance review.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Health Sciences, or a related field.
Experience : Minimum of 2 to 3 years of demonstrable experience in a Project Management, Project Coordinator, or similar role. Experience in the Healthcare, Occupational Health, or related Safety / Compliance sectors is highly advantageous.
Skills and Proficiencies : Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on deadline adherence and quality control. Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder management and reporting. Demonstrated ability to negotiate, problem-solve, and make data-driven decisions under pressure.
Certifications (Advantageous) : Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is preferred.
