Job Description

We have an amazing opportunity for a retail company based in Cape Town for a Project Manager Assistant. The Project Administrators main area of responsibility is to support the Project Manager and Functional Area Manager with all projects administrative requirements.

Responsibilities :

  • Accurately set project costs
  • Consider and / or investigate cost implications for projects
  • Logistical arrangements with suppliers to streamline store openings
  • Develop a detailed checklist of items to be used at individual projects
  • Ensure project details and timings are accurately communicated to various parties involved
  • Manage project expenses & reconciliations according to budgets
  • Collating and reporting data during conversions
  • Maintain effective working relationship with all relevant parties
  • Effectively manage multiple projects at a time
  • General administration skills

  • Coordinates Project requirements with all stakeholders
  • Responsible for complete store setup (New stores / Upgrades)
  • Requirements :
  • Grade 12
  • Completed Tertiary education (Business Administration Project Management or equivalent)
  • Experience as a Project Administrator / Assistant within the retail environment
  • Working knowledge of Word Excel and Power Point
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and outlook-driven pressurized environment
  • Own reliable transport
