Job summary

A project engineering firm seeks an experienced Project Engineer to lead engineering projects related to process plants. The ideal candidate possesses a BSc/BTech in Engineering and has extensive experience in engineering design and project management. Key responsibilities include managing project documentation, engaging with teams and vendors, and conducting site inspections. Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in project engineering, particularly in capital equipment or process industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of engineering design experience on process plants.
  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience.

Project engineering work relating to process plants including studies, basic engineering and detailed engineering minimum 3 Years

Engineering design experience on projects pertaining to process plant design and construction minimum 3 Years

Supervision / Management minimum 2 Years

Project Management minimum 2 Years

Championing technical brilliance throughout every phase of project implementation.

Playing a pivotal role in design contribution and meticulous production of project documentation.

Managing equipment specifications and selections within project boundaries.

Actively engaging with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure flawless project execution.

Upholding meticulous records and reports to keep projects on track.

Technical Engineering :

Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, schedules, and reports.

Contribute to technical excellence of the project in engineering deliverable development.

Equipment specifications, adjudication and selections in line with project requirements, quality and budget.

Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution, particularly at construction / assembly phase.

Conduct regular fabrication site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Proven experience in project engineering, preferably in the capital equipment or process industry.

Strong technical background with knowledge of engineering principles and practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with suppliers and team members.

Solid organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Continuously finding new ways to innovate to improve performance and streamline project engineering.
