A client of ours within the consulting sector is seeking to appoint an experienced Pr. Structural Engineer/Technologist to be responsible for the planning, design, monitoring, and reporting of related infrastructure projects.

Location

Polokwane, Limpopo

Requirements
  • BEng, BSC, or B-Tech degree in Civil Engineering (Structural)
  • Professionally registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Technologist
  • Minimum of 10 years working experience with 5 years post registration working experience in Structural Engineering (Planning, Design, Monitoring and Reporting)
  • Knowledge of relevant rules, regulations and quality standards and ability to effectively advice clients where required
  • Experience in Project Management and Report Writing skills
Responsibilities
  • Attending client’s projects brief and assist with preparation of project specifications
  • Assist with preparation of Feasibility Studies and Technical Reports
  • Prepare designs and drawings
  • Liaise with clients and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Arrange all required projects meetings and prepare minutes and progress reports
  • Monitor and advice contractors and Resident Engineers on site
