We seek an experienced candidate to manage the team and processes ensuring product compliance with regulations and standards. The role involves analyzing regulatory requirements and auditing project designs, plans, and processes for compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist management with agrichemical product registration and regulatory tasks.
• Gather documentation for agrichemical registrations.
• Stay updated on international agrichemical regulations.
• Compile and assess regulatory dossiers and documents.
• Assist with export registration dossiers.
• Coordinate with regulatory departments and industry bodies (RSA and abroad).
• Maintain departmental documentation.
• Supervise and train regulatory support staff.
• Provide professional support to industry as needed.

If you possess…

Must-Have:

• Grade 12
• Tertiary qualification in Agriculture
• At least 5 years of regulatory experience with agricultural chemicals
• Knowledge of chemical management legislation (Act 36/1947)
• Understanding of GHS and ability to conduct GHS classification
• Good understanding of biological research
• Analytical mindset and problem identification skills
• Good planning and coordination skills
• Ability to present to various audiences
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
