What You Will Do

• Provide product and application expertise as a trusted advisor to customers and sales personnel.
• Conduct internal and external training on product capabilities and safe and efficient usage of underground mining equipment.
• Conduct product performance studies, assess customer job site efficiency, collect product and customer requirements for product improvement and new product introduction programs.
• Work with marketing to create internal and external communication highlighting solutions for underground mining.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent experience in underground mining.
• 3–5 years of underground mining experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Customer focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
• Product and service knowledge: Ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.
• Decision making and critical thinking: Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Effective communication: Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication behaviors.
• Negotiating: Ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Additional Information

Onsite, five days a week in Kempton Park, Johannesburg. Relocation will not be supported.
