Job description

Step Teachers Manchester is recruiting flexible and enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers for a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Stretford, Trafford. We’re supporting the school with a range of needs, from day-to-day cover to short-term and long-term placements.

Role: Primary Supply Teacher – KS1 or KS2
Location: Stretford, Trafford
Start: September 2025.
Contract: Day-to-day, short-term or long-term supply
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm.
Pay: Up to £210/day DOE – paid PAYE directly by Step Teachers (no umbrella companies!)
Long-term roles paid to scale from the 13th week

What you’ll do:

• Teach across KS1 or KS2, planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN and EAL pupils
• Work collaboratively with support staff and other teachers
• Maintain positive behaviour and a safe, happy classroom environment
• Support the school's values and contribute to wider school life
