What you will be doing
  • Agree, prioritise, and manage work deliverables and plans.
  • Handle substantial portfolio and market data daily.
  • Retrieve, validate, reconcile, and analyse data for regular and periodic reports.
  • Interrogate, interpret, and analyse data to produce client reports and advisory insights.
  • Safeguard the integrity of sensitive client data and manually verify statistics.
  • Review reports from fellow analysts and address report queries when needed.
  • Provide ad hoc analyses, suggestions, and support.
  • Contribute ideas for technical solutions and process improvements.
  • Participate in quality management processes and identify inefficiencies.
  • Set and pursue career objectives, annual goals, and engage in knowledge sharing.
  • Actively participate in organisational discussions, events, and innovation.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses as required.
What our client is looking for
  • Holds an undergraduate degree, preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or finance.
  • An Honours degree is preferable.
  • Shows interest in pursuing CFA, FRM, or CAIA charter.
  • 1 - 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and sensitive client data integrity.
  • Manages large volumes of portfolio and market data.
  • Understands portfolio and instrument-level information.
  • Quick learner with interest in financial services and industry trends.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and good time management.
  • Exposure to or experience with Excel, SQL and Power BI would be beneficial.
  • Able to handle pressure, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Communicates clearly and politely with clients, both verbally and in writing.
  • Exhibits initiative, proactive problem-solving, and teamwork.
  • Willing to dedicate extra hours when needed to meet deadlines.
