Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Engineering Manager in Midrand, Gauteng, to provide leadership in engineering and asset management systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Matric, GCC, and a Mechanical/Electrical qualification, alongside 5 years of technical experience in a leadership role within a utilities environment. This role requires knowledge of engineering processes and experience with SHEQ and SAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Matric and a GCC with N6/B-Tech/B.Sc. Mechanical/Electrical qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years technical experience in a leadership capacity in a utilities environment.
• Sufficient knowledge of engineering processes and systems.

• Provide leadership and guidance in execution of Engineering and Asset Management systems.
• Ensure legal requirements are met and energy targets are achieved.

Job description

To provide leadership, guidance and coordination in the execution of Engineering and AssetManagement systems and work practices in order to achieve plant reliability and quality objectives. This
also includes meeting all legal requirements and updates and ensuring that the energy and electricitytargets are met, and reduction plans are in place.

• A minimum of Matric and a GCC with N6/B-Tech/B.Sc. Mechanical /Electrical qualification
• Minimum of 5 Years technical experience in a leadership capacity in a utilities environment
• Sufficient knowledge of engineering processes and systems
• Experience at a leadership level
• Experience with SHEQ
