Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Polokwane is seeking a qualified pharmacist to ensure efficient and professional pharmaceutical services. This permanent on-site position requires a B Pharm/BSc Pharm and a minimum of 3 years' experience in community or hospital pharmacy. Key responsibilities include leading staff, managing pharmaceutical stock, and overseeing departmental budgets. The candidate should have strong skills in risk management and relevant pharmacy legislation, associated with a preference for internal applicants.

Qualifications

• 3 years working as a pharmacist in a community or institutional/hospital pharmacy.
• 3-5 years supervisory or managerial experience in an institutional/hospital pharmacy.

• Manage pharmaceutical stock (own, loan and consignment).
• Manage and mitigate departmental risks.
• Manage and control departmental budgets / finances.
