Production Manager Position Overview. This is a challenging role that oversees site operations, ensuring the production of high-quality products while maintaining cost-effectiveness and efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site maintenance, health and safety compliance, and driving continuous improvement across production, quality, and supply chain functions.

• Oversee site maintenance, health and safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement across production, quality, and supply chain functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical) required.
• At least 6+ years of experience in food/FMCG manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a plant or operations management role.
• Experience in mechanical design, P&ID, project management, research and development, commissioning, and project execution recommended.
• Hands-on approach to engineering and engineering optimization with a proven practical track record.
• Proven experience in utilizing software for scoping capital cost estimates.
• Working experience in engineering maintenance within the food industry coupled with plant maintenance in a food processing plant would be advantageous.
• Solid ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing best practices (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM).
• Familiarity with edible oil production processes is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
