OFFICE FURNITURE SALES PERSON
The Furniture Sales Person role is key in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. You will assist customers in selecting the perfect furniture for their homes, ensuring a great shopping experience, and meeting sales targets. This role requires strong product knowledge and exceptional interpersonal skills.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- QuickBooks knowledge is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in furniture or home decor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and providing excellent customer service
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct Sale of office Furniture:
- Reply to all quotes via emails, websites, calls, and WhatsApp
- Answer phone calls
- Greet clients with a welcoming smile
- Obtain customer requirements - Space Planning
- Offer cost-effective / alternative solutions
- Monitor product line gross margin / markup
- Generate quotes, follow-up on receipt, and secure acceptance of signed quotes
- Complete Customer Detail Forms
- Verify Proforma Invoices
- Complete customer details
- Generate Pick Lists, check and sign them
Handle Takealot orders & portal queries and returns
- Manage Takealot Portal
- Process orders & returns
- Prepare orders, check component completeness
- Packaging & labeling boxes
- Manage packaging materials
Processing of Bills
- Ensure complete product details per line item, stock code, pricing, and discounts
- Request quotes / sales orders from suppliers
- Align POs with customer proforma invoices
- Confirm estimated delivery dates, schedule deliveries, and inform clients
- Receive stock, confirm with QB PO & supplier quotes
- Sign & date supplier invoices
- Follow-up with clients 7 days post-delivery
- Encourage clients to submit Google reviews or rate our service
Daily Admin & Office Duties
- Generate, follow-up, amend, and finalize quotes
- Create QuickBooks invoices
- Generate credits to clients
- Maintain trip sheets
- Conduct stock takes in warehouse, showroom, & office
- Clean showroom areas
- Perform final checks as per invoices (quantity)
- Perform general security duties
