Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role is critical in identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, supporting marketing initiatives, and driving overall growth. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with solid marketing experience and the ability to work cross-functionally across departments and client accounts. Minimum Requirements
  • Relevant Degree or Post-Matric Qualification in Marketing or a related field
  • Proven experience in marketing, business development, or sales
  • Experience in the food and/or packaging industry is advantageous
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and data
  • Proficiency in marketing tools, CRM systems; Syspro & Power BI experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relationship builder with bilingual capabilities

Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business aligned with company strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects
  • Coordinate and oversee customer visits and sample deliveries
  • Manage and maintain the sample room and marketing materials
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategy
  • Present new and existing products to clients and train client reps
  • Align marketing and sales strategies through collaboration
  • Maintain accurate records and CRM data from client interactions
  • Organize and represent the company at trade shows and industry events
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients and managers
  • Provide insights into market conditions, trends, and feedback
  • Lead product development cycles from concept to launch
  • Support broader sales and marketing initiatives as needed
