Sharing Stories by Shanz (SSBS: 324-109NPO) operates as the Social Responsiveness Initiative under ProEdge Learning Solutions (Pty) Ltd.SSBS functions as the community and development arm of ProEdge, and as such, it is calling on passionate, purpose-driven professionals, creatives, and changemakers to mentor diverse youth from diverse backgrounds in our 2026 mentorship programme. If you believe in the power of stories, leadership, legacy, and transformation, we want you on our team.

Whom We Are Looking For:

We are seeking mentors across the following career‑aligned streams:

  • Emerging Writers & Storytellers (early career or student: Authors, journalists, poets, creative writers, editors, publishers, content creators, Public Relations, Digital Marketing)
  • Emerging Public Speakers & Educators (Student or early career: Teachers, trainers, speakers, academic mentors)
  • Emerging Social Impact Leaders (Student or early career: NPO founders, advocates for human rights, the community, and gender advocates)
  • Emerging Mental Health & Wellness Practitioners (Student or early career: Psychologists, coaches, faith‑based counsellors)
  • Emerging Education Professionals (Student or early career: Tutors, curriculum developers, educational psychologists)
  • Emerging Leadership & Entrepreneurs (Student or early career: Small business owners, project managers, start‑up coaches)
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be 17 years or older
  • No experience required
  • Must be a student or planning to register in the future
  • Can also be an early career professional
  • A passion for one of the abovementioned fields
  • Willing to commit to at least 6 months of mentorship (April–September 2026)
  • Availability for at least 1 virtual session per week with your mentor
  • Access to email, WhatsApp, Zoom/Google/Teams, Wi‑Fi, and Google Classroom
What Mentees Receive:
  • A certificate of participation from SSBS (Registered NPO)
  • Feature in the Trailblazer Stories or SSBS Magazine
  • Network of like‑minded changemakers and professionals
  • Growth in leadership, coaching, and storytelling skills
