A biopharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to support oncology and hematology pipeline development in South Africa. The role involves engaging with healthcare professionals to educate them on products and facilitate research initiatives. Candidates should have a strong background in medical science with at least 2 years of MSL experience, particularly in oncology. The position offers a dynamic work environment, requiring strong communication and organizational skills, along with proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.

This MSL role will be to act as a scientific expert and trusted resource within the oncology therapeutic area, primarily engaging with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders to exchange scientific information, support clinical research initiatives, and provide actionable medical insights.
The role ensures compliant, evidence-based communication and contributes to advancing patient care by bridging scientific knowledge and clinical practice.
As a member of the organization, the MSL will support local medical affairs strategies and establish compliant relationships with HCPs, opinion leaders, research collaborators and key organizations in support of BeOne Medicines' pipeline development across all therapeutic areas.
This position will require pre-launch and post-launch Medical Affairs support for hematology and oncology pipeline development.
The incumbent will work closely with internal colleagues in medical affairs, clinical development, clinical operations, legal, compliance, new product planning, safety / pharmacovigilance, molecular diagnostics, translational research and other cross-functional business partners.
The MSL will support BeOne medicines pre‑clinical and clinical pipeline development by coordinating external collaborations, research endeavors with health care providers and external academicians.
The individual will play a key role in the establishment of BeOne Medicines as a valued collaborator and best‑in‑class biopharmaceutical company.
This position reports to the Country Medical Director, who in turn reports to the Country General Manager.
MD, PharmD.
PhD or a Masters Degree within a clinical and / or scientific profession (or an equivalent level of professional, clinical and / or scientific education, training and experience) preferred.
Johannesburg.
Primarily field‑based, covering the entire country of South Africa, with a combination of visits to the company office and home office work.
