Job summary

A recruitment agency in South Africa is seeking a qualified engineer with a BEng or BSc degree in Mechatronics and 1-3 years of relevant experience. Candidates must have a solid background in Electro-Mechanical and Electrical designs, particularly in PLC programming with Siemens, as well as experience with servo drives. KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION :

• You will have completed a BEng or BSc degree in Mechatronics, coupled with 1-3 years experience in Electro-Mechanical and Electrical designs, as well as PLC programming (Siemens) and providing supervision at installation and commissioning phase.
• You will have a solid track record in providing technical support and training for customers, as well as being available to problem solve with field technicians.
• You must have working experience on servo drives in particular.
• Due to the requirement to travel extensively, both nationally and internationally.
• You must have a valid driver's license, a clear credit and criminal record and your own reliable vehicle.
