There is an amazing opportunity for a Marketing Team Lead to be based in Umhlanga.

Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the strategic and hands-on development and implementation of internal marketing (digital & traditional), PR and communication plans; work closely with the Leadership Team, Creative and Content Teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and collaborative delivery.
  • Attend and/or participate in events, conventions, conferences, and tradeshows; prepare engaging displays and collateral as needed, and provide post-event reports and analysis.
  • Develop internal marketing strategy and communications plans.
  • Implement strategies and internal marketing campaigns.
  • Act as custodian of the brand including brand positioning and internal communication.
  • Manage idea generation and implementation of projects.
  • Remain informed with industry norms, restrictions and standards and ensure marketing initiatives are compliant.
  • Comply with regulations from the National Gambling Board and Provincial Gambling Boards.
  • Identify new marketing opportunities to drive growth and optimise existing activities.
  • Review analytics to provide insights and optimise strategies and plans.
  • Identify new opportunities for employer brand awareness and generate awareness, differentiation, and strong employer brand positioning in defined markets.
  • Generate internal marketing material as well as external employer brand content.
  • Provide digital marketing insights and strategic direction for digital marketing strategy and implementation of campaigns including social media marketing, search engine marketing, paid campaigns, SEO, email campaigns, and mobile campaigns.
  • Monitor website performance and oversee content management on various websites and online platforms.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and ensure ROI on marketing campaigns.
  • Manage internal events and handovers.
  • Conduct market research and interpret results to inform strategies and plans.
  • Collaborate with the Hollywoodbets Marketing Team to ensure brand tone and look are consistent and synergistic with the group.
  • Remain involved in Corporate Social Investment and Social Economic Development initiatives and ensure these are well communicated.
  • Work closely with Marketing Managers, the Marketing Team, and other Leaders to develop new initiatives and enhance existing activities.
  • Manage and build relationships with internal teams, clients and stakeholders in various regions.
  • Budget and expenditure control and forecasting.
  • Ongoing competitor analysis and reporting; drive content for online channels (website, social, blog).
  • Provide direction, set KPIs, conduct performance reviews and lead the Team daily.
  • Understand key marketing performance metrics, automation, and analytics tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analysis, campaign results, and customer trends to translate results into actionable insights.
  • Weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
