Job Title: Manager - Company Secretary

The Role & Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Senior Management in SA and Jersey to assist and coordinate workflows and planning for the team.
- Ensure the team has a strong structure as it grows, with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
- Assist the team with new structures and client onboarding.
- Participate in client care, take responsibility for CRM for certain clients.
- Ensure high-level client service delivery, meeting deadlines and adhering to client-specific and internal procedures.
- Review company secretarial and administrative work performed by the team.
- Provide technical support to the team.
- Join client calls.
- Handle dealings with intermediaries.
- Foster strong cross-country relationships with teams and other jurisdictions, ensuring feedback on team performance.
- Assist with billing cycles, including reviewing timesheets, invoices, fee reviews, WIP analysis, and debt collection.
- Review transaction documentation as necessary.
- Support onboarding of new investors/clients for AML compliance.
- Enforce operational discipline within teams through procedures and checklists.
- Identify training needs and organize training sessions.
- Oversee daily team operations, ensuring timely responses to client queries.
- Attend client board meetings and draft complex minutes.
- Lead internal projects when required.
- Manage daily tasks such as payments, transactions, CoSec, corporate governance, board packs, client & investor communications, billing, AML/KYC, reviews, FATCA, CRS.
Skills Required:
- Professional qualifications: LLB, BCom LLB.
- Admitted Attorney preferred.
- Post-articles experience with strong administrative skills.
- Professional qualification such as ICSA, CSSA, or equivalent.
- At least 7 years of relevant industry experience in trust administration and working with corporate entities.
- High integrity and confidentiality.
- Commitment to professional and client service excellence.
- Minimum 5 years of trust or fund experience in a professional environment.
- Knowledge of offshore regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Motivated, driven, and detail-oriented.
- Team player with high accuracy standards.
