Job description

Set up and operate lighting equipment for performances and events On Board Cruise Ship.

Program and operate lighting control systems to execute dynamic lighting designs for shows.

Collaborate with performers and other technicians to ensure seamless show execution.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on lighting equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.

Maintain inventory of lighting equipment and supplies; report any shortages or damages.

Strictly follow all safety protocols and regulations while working with lighting equipment.

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in lighting technology.

Assist with other technical tasks and responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Light Technician, ideally in an entertainment setting.

Strong knowledge of lighting equipment, DMX control, and lighting programming (e.g., GrandMA, ETC, or similar consoles).

Proven ability to program and operate complex lighting systems for live performances.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
