What this job can offer you

The Time & Attendance Specialist will play an essential role in ensuring accurate and efficient management of Time & Attendance for Remote's external employees and clients. This individual contributor position emphasizes legal compliance and delivering an exceptional employee experience while maintaining efficient processes. You will report to the Time & Attendance Manager.

What you bring
  • Solid operational experience in HR across multiple roles, with a focus on HR generalist responsibilities handling multiple countries.
  • Strong understanding of local and international labor laws and regulations related to time tracking, attendance, and leave management. Familiarity with HR best practices in Time & Attendance.
  • Proven experience implementing end-to-end time off and attendance policies based on country regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with employees, clients, and internal teams.
  • Strong English communication; proficiency in another language is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, especially in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of Time & Attendance Standard Operating Procedures:
    • Contribute to developing up-to-date, efficient, and compliant SOPs for Time & Attendance.
    • Maintain and update policies that align with legal requirements.
  • Subject Matter Expertise:
    • Provide SME support for internal and external queries related to Employee Lifecycle and Time & Attendance.
    • Collaborate with clients and employees to address inquiries and guidance on Time & Attendance issues.
  • Continuous Improvement of Employee Journey:
    • Gather feedback from stakeholders and leverage best practices to enhance the employee journey and experience.
  • Data Management and Confidentiality:
    • Manage employee data securely and accurately. Support reporting, audit, compliance, and data integrity initiatives.
  • Championing Remote's Values:
    • Promote Remote's values and contribute to the Lifecycle team's goals.

Salary: The annual salary range for this full-time position is $26,350 — $59,300 USD.
