Responsibilities
  • Promote company details across physical, electronic, and other platforms.
  • Source, secure, and build a client base for sustainable business opportunities.
  • Deliver excellent service and products to impress and retain customers.
  • Provide market-related feedback to management on pricing, lead times, and client satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with recurring customers to secure bulk monthly orders.
  • Provide product advice telephonically or in person.
  • Follow up on leads and ensure service delivery standards are met.
  • Request and showcase product samples to potential clients.
  • Capture, manage, and update client data on Pastel/Fusion.
  • Manage client correspondence.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations.
  • Request and formulate transport quotes.
  • Initiate targeted sales campaigns (e.g., painters, mines, architects, schools).
  • Launch promotional offerings to drive sales.
  • Generate referrals from clients and suppliers.
  • Track upcoming projects for potential business.
  • Forecast sales and develop creative strategies.
  • Analyse reports to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Attend training and handle general queries.
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills.
  • Self-driven with a strong sales mindset.
  • Good people skills and professional presentation.
