A recruitment agency based in Somerset West is seeking an Export Officer to ensure compliance and traceability for organic consignments exported mainly to the EU and USA. The candidate should hold a relevant tertiary qualification and possess strong skills in document validation, communication, and detail orientation. The role includes checking compliance, issuing certificates, and collaborating with multiple departments. A market-related salary is offered along with additional benefits such as medical aid contribution and a performance bonus.
My Client is hiring an Export Officer. You will report directly to the Export Manager. The Export Officer plays a pivotal role to ensure the traceability and documentary compliance check for each organic consignment being sold or exported, in particular to the EU and USA.
You will be responsible to carry out the following duties:
Remuneration: Market‑related salary and dependent on experience and qualifications
Type of contract: Permanent (6-month probation)
But also: 60% medical aid contribution (after probation), life‑and disability insurance (after 12 months). When working more than 6 months you will become eligible for a performance bonus based on the level of achievement of your annual objectives. Partial remote working is part of the current company policies.
