Role Overview
ASUS South Africa is seeking a Junior Digital Specialist will support the execution and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns across all online channels. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital marketing, analytics, and content creation, who is eager to grow within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Campaign Support
- Assist in the setup, monitoring, and optimisation of paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
- Conduct basic keyword research and support ad copy creation.
- Establish UTM tracking and campaign parameters to measure performance from impression to conversion.
- Ensure campaigns are executed according to timelines and budget allocations.
- Develop and manage CRM strategies including email marketing, retargeting, automation workflows, and customer retention initiatives
2. Social Media & Content
- Schedule and publish posts across platforms.
- Support community management (responding to comments, inbox queries).
- Assist in creating simple graphics, copy, and short-form videos using Canva or similar.
3. Analytics & Reporting
- Pull reports from Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.
- Track KPIs and highlight trends, opportunities, or issues.
- Help maintain dashboards and ensure data accuracy.
4. Administrative & Coordination
- Assist with campaign briefs to internal designers.
- Maintain digital content calendars and asset libraries.
- Support marketing team with ad-hoc digital tasks.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Proficiency in platforms including Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, GA4, GTM, and Data Studio.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with attribution modeling, conversion tracking, and data segmentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to present data and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite.
- Familiarity with Canva or basic design tools.
- Strong copywriting and communication skills.
- Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets for basic data work.
