The ideal candidate will possess a B-Tech or National Diploma in clinical/biomedical engineering and should have experience with medical equipment management. Additionally, they must be a member of CEASA and have good problem-solving skills. Applicants should have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• B-Tech or National Diploma in clinical/biomedical engineering is required.
• Experience in management and/or maintenance of medical equipment in a clinical environment is necessary.
• Member of the Clinical Engineering Association of South Africa (CEASA) is preferred.
• Computer proficiency is required.
• Driver’s license and ability to travel are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and coordinate the maintenance of medical equipment technology.
• Conduct first line repairs and modifications on medical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections in line with protocols.
• Involved in medical equipment selection and acquisition.
• Train hospital staff on equipment usage.
