About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team in Stellenbosch. Reporting to the Senior Financial Manager, this role will primarily focus on debtor invoicing, bank processing, and financial accounting tasks, while also supporting other areas of the Finance department as required. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional to gain broad exposure and grow within a dynamic, global organization.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process sales invoicing and recharges.
  • Manage bank processing and monthly reconciliations.
  • Support cash management activities.
  • Review creditor batches and payments.
  • Maintain and update financial master data records.
  • Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Complete statutory returns as required.
  • Provide support during month-end stock takes.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as requested by the Senior Financial Accountant.
Qualifications and Experience
  • BCom degree in accounting or equivalent qualification (required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-graduate experience in a similar role.
  • Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; computer literate across MS Office suite.
  • Experience with Microsoft AX (advantageous).
  • Strong communication and administration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
