The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency and reliability.
This role involves leading a team of IT professionals, planning and implementing technology solutions, and aligning IT strategies with business goals.
The IT Manager will also manage IT projects, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure cybersecurity measures are in place.
Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Develop and implement IT strategies and policies that align with the organization’s goals.
Plan and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost‑effective solutions and expenditures.
Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT systems and applications.
Manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and specifications.
Coordinate with other departments to understand their technology needs and deliver solutions.
Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect the organization’s data and IT assets.
Monitor and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities.
Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring optimal performance and value.
Oversee the procurement and lifecycle management of IT assets.
Provide technical support and guidance to end‑users, addressing and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
Ensure effective helpdesk operations and user support services.
Ensure IT operations comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) preferred.
