IT Infrastructure Specialist – Automotive Industry

Location: Gauteng

Are you ready to take your IT Infrastructure expertise to the next level with one of the worlds most advanced automotive brands. We’re seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to support enterprise-level systems and output management solutions in a cutting-edge hybrid work environment.

What you will do

• Manage and support Enterprise Services Output Management solutions ensuring smooth operations and configuration of related scripts.
• Deliver all operational and support activities in line with Agile principles and departmental guidelines.
• Maintain strong awareness of user requirements and client infrastructure standards (UNIX SAN/NAS storage).
• Collaborate with IT architects to design and implement effective infrastructure solutions.
• Ensure compliance with BMW Group IT security and maintain up-to-date operational documentation.
• Manage ITIL-based processes incident, change and problem management through ticket creation, coordination and resolution.
• Monitor and maintain system performance and software versions to ensure continuous uptime across global sites (Germany, South Africa, China, USA).
• Provide operational support to development and maintenance teams on project-related initiatives.
