Job summary
A retail company in South Africa is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage recruitment and support Industrial relations within the organization. The role requires a minimum of 3 years in HR as a generalist, effective communication skills, and the ability to represent the company at the CCMA. Candidates with retail experience and a relevant HR qualification are preferred.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a generalist in Human Resources.
- Sound experience in Industrial Relations and Recruitment & Selection.
- Retail experience will be an advantage.

- Responsible for recruitment and selection in all departments.
- Administrator and onboard new employees
- Effectively liaise with payroll to finalise appointment
- Support management with Industrial relation support
- Prepare for and initiate disciplinary hearings
- Prepare for and represent the company at the CCMA
- Setup and support the safety team at Head Office
- Ensure compliance on the safety team for First Aider and SHE representatives.
- Effectively manage and support with talent management.
Key Requirements
- Human Resources experience of at least 3 years as a generalist.
- Sound experience in Industrial Relations and Recruitment & Selection
- Retail experience will be an advantage
- Qualification of at least a certificate in the HR field
- Good planning, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Effective writing skills in English
- Must have represented an employer at the CCMA
- Must have a code 08 driving license
- Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to psychometric assessments
